• The increasing vandalism targeting Hindu temples and Mahatma Gandhi statues should be classified as hate crimes and investigated with the highest priority.
• Such incidents threaten not only places of worship and iconic monuments but also the ideals of tolerance and religious freedom that define the nation.

Address illegal human trafficking

• HinduPACT calls on the FBI to identify and dismantle illegal human trafficking networks contributing to illegal immigration, which imposes tragic consequences on vulnerable individuals.

Establish regular dialogue with Hindu leaders

• HinduPACT requests the FBI to set up a formal mechanism for regular meetings with
• Hindu leaders to better understand the community’s perspective on Hinduphobia.
• Issues such as the targeting of Hindus based on the sacred symbol of the Swastika, the so-called “Caste” bogey, and online anti-Hindu memes are manifestations of Hindu hatred.
• Ongoing respectful dialogue and education are essential to help the FBI identify and counter these issues before they lead to vandalism or violence.

Prioritize stolen ancient Hindu and Buddhist artifacts

• Tens of thousands of sacred artifacts have been stolen from India, Nepal, Cambodia, and other Southeast Asian countries, often ending up in museums and private collections in the West.
• HinduPACT urges the FBI Art Crime Team, under Director Patel, to intensify efforts to recover and repatriate these stolen artifacts, recognizing that protecting cultural heritage is essential to honoring shared history and religious freedom.
