• Reversing the Paris Climate Agreement: Trump plans to withdraw from the accord again, emphasizing a return to energy independence.
• Rescinding Biden’s energy exploration ban: Republican lawmakers, including Senator Ted Cruz, have criticized Biden’s ban on offshore energy exploration. Trump is expected to reverse this through an executive order.

E J Antoni, a public finance economist at The Heritage Foundation, described Trump’s strategy as achievable given the extensive preparation by his team. “It’s perfectly reasonable to think those orders will be on the Resolute Desk on the day of the inauguration,” he said.
