Hospitalization and health conditions

Acharya Satyendra Das was admitted to the HDU of the Neurology ward on February 3 after suffering a brain stroke on February 2. His condition remained critical.

On February 4, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited SGPGIMS to inquire about his health and offer support.

Role in Ram Janmabhoomi movement

Acharya Satyendra Das played a significant role in the events surrounding the Babri Masjid demolition on December 6, 1992. Before the demolition, he relocated the idols to the Fakire Mandir.
