Comment on US shifts stance, sides with Russia on UN Resolution for Ukraine peace by vijay

NO war in the recent history has ended without an abject surrender. The two world wars, Bangladesh war, Vietnam war, even Afghanistan war all have ended up after surrender by one side. The wars in Africa, Korea, Kashmir and Middle east remain festering in absence of a surrender. Nato would love to have such festering wars which are good for their economies, but the US has now realize the mounting debt encouraged by other Nato members who are having a field day at the cost of the rich friend, may become unsustainable. A ceasefire and end to Ukraine war would mean win for Russia, who was to have been bankrupted and militarily weakend ending in a regime change but what has happened exactly the opposite, with regime changes or weakened in most of the Nato countries.
