Operation Sindoor – Indian Armed Forces attacks 9 areas in PoK and Pakistan based terror camps

A few minutes ago Indian armed forces hit Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) at nine areas in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack. Indian Army’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ strike happened in nine areas where Pakistan was maintaining terror camps.

“Operation Sindoor: Indian Armed Forces Carried Out Precision Strike at Terrorist Camps. Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed.
Nine ( 9) sites have been targeted.

“Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in the selection of targets and the method of execution.

“These steps come in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 Indians and one Nepalese citizen were murdered. We are living up to the commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable, said the Indian Army and the Government of India in different press releases

The director general of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has also released a statement on behalf of the Pakistani military acknowledging India’s military action inside Pakistan-controlled territory.

He said India has conducted aerial strikes on three locations: Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad. In response, all Pakistan Air Force aircraft have been mobilized.

He further said the Indian strikes were executed from “within India’s own airspace.” In the statement, Chaudhry further said Pakistan will respond at a time and place of its own choosing, and this [Indian] action will not go unanswered. “The temporary pleasure of India will be replaced by enduring grief,” the Pakistani military threatened.
