Jaipur authorities launch bulldozer action against accused in attack on RSS workers

In a swift response to a violent attack on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workers, Jaipur authorities demolished part of an illegally constructed building belonging to the father-son duo implicated in the incident. The attack occurred during a Sharad Purnima event at a temple, where Naseeb Chaudhary, his son Bheesham, and others allegedly assaulted ten RSS workers with knives and other weapons, resulting in six hospitalizations.

The confrontation arose after local residents complained about excessive noise and a large crowd during the late-night Jagran program. Eyewitnesses reported that Naseeb Chaudhary had encroached upon the temple and park land, constructing a small building without permission.

Following the attack, the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) conducted a survey of the site and issued a notice to the Chaudharys, demanding a response within 24 hours. When no response was received, officials utilized an earthmover to demolish two rooms of the illegal structure on Sunday.

Naseeb, his wife Nirmala, and Bheesham were taken into custody by police on Friday in connection with the stabbing incident, which has ignited protests in the Karni Vihar area. Local residents and RSS supporters have expressed their outrage, demanding justice and stronger action against illegal constructions in the community.
