My New Letter Series – Dear PMOI, Bleed India With A Thousand Cuts

Dear PMOI,

Yep, Modi Sir, that’s Pakistan’s unofficial motto. Any wonder why there have been more terror attacks inside the Indian border than one can imagine! This is not a joke that one can disregard. When a country, the size of the Indian state Kerala, has to subjugate a country at least 20 times its size, conventional armies will not suffice. As the Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said, the madrasas (Islamic schools) are their second line of defense. I beg to differ with this statement, as that should be “first line of defense”. After all, the army in that country has better things to do than fight an enemy far more superior with far more sophisticated weaponry. They have a country to run, an economy (if one can call it that) to consume, product lines (diapers are one of them. I am serious!) that need to be made, traveling to various countries asking for economic help (Saudi Arabia, China and Turkey are their favorite destinations), ensuring non-violent patriots like Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar are protected from the “unknown gunman” and so many other areas that need their attention. Given this kind of workload, people within that country should NOT expect their armed forces to fight!

Mr Modi, you should get educated on these nuances within India’s neighboring country’s armed forces. So what if the few scientists in India’s DRDO (No, I am not talking about the James Bond movie, but Defense Research & Development Organization) have more weaponry designs in their collective hip pocket than the entire Pakistan has? PM Sir, you should not utilize these sophisticated weapons but should resort to the same weapons used against them (Sticks and stones do come to mind, but that might be misconstrued as sophistication too, given that the country is destroying its greenery to create the Defense Housing Authority (DHA)). Ben Netanyahu is NOT the best person to use as an ideal, Sir ji! You probably should use Mohandas K Gandhi as your ideal. After all, the Indian National Congress (we, common folk, refer to as Khangress or INK fondly) has used “The Father Of India” on all their work. He did say that Hindus should allow the “minority” to kill them. His exact statement was, “Hindus should face the aggressors bravely and non-violently”! Instead, you respond with weapons they have never even heard of. The next time some “misguided” youth from the neighboring country comes in and attacks India, would you resort to using laser weapons? Your statement, “Talks with Pakistan will revolve around terrorism and POJK and nothing else,” is absolutely unfair! Then, to deprive them of life’s only nectar is even more unfair! Yes, I am talking about water. They do need that to make ice, so much a necessity when the Pakistani army generals need to get a drink of Scotch or Vodka. Leave the Pakistani army, Sir. You have created an international catastrophe with this one decision. The various foreigners working in the embassies within that country are now unable to “use the facilities” (read as bathrooms) as they can’t flush after using it. Do you expect them to GO on the streets of that “Heaven on Earth”? You build Sulabh Shouchalays around India and expect the neighboring country to go on the streets?

That divine saint, the PM of Pakistan, Shabby Sharif, has repeatedly said his country does NOT harbor any terrorists. Unfortunately, the last time he said that was just before the train was hijacked in his country! The hijackers were Baloch fighting for their freedom, so he was absolutely right! These were not terrorists but freedom fighters, although he does claim Balochistan is an integral part of his country! Where Shabby probably mis-spoke (I guess he deviated from the speech the ISI wrote for him) was calling these Baloch as terrorists, contradicting his own statement that there are no terrorists within his country! These sorts of contradictions happen in big countries with big economies and big leaders!! I mean, think of your own country where HUGELY popular leaders like Rahul Baba ask about why there was such a delay in responding to the Pahalgam attack, knowing fully well India never responded to ANY attacks during the INK administration. I guess the INK was adhering to MK Gandhi’s lines, I quoted earlier!! The one about non-violence and bravery!!!

Modiji, to openly state that India will not be intimidated by the Nuclear threats was disappointing, to put it mildly! You have taken away the SINGLE talking point (read as threat) that your neighbor had, not to forget INK’s hugely popular leader (and definitely the next PMOI), Rahul Baba! When Rahul Baba has to now address his sheep, err, followers, what do you expect him to talk about? Economy? Foreign Relations? Areas that he has NO knowledge about, although he does talk about them! Maybe you’re right in expecting (read as forcing) him to talk about these areas. This will probably increase his knowledge! Then to go and destroy so many airbases, including some that were NOT EVEN Pakistani bases!! Yes, I am talking about the Nur Khan airbase that was American! You could have at least talked to the POTUS prior to destroying that airbase! No heads up, nothing!! Disappointing, Modiji! You then take the most literate people from the INK and its’ allies and send them on a “diplomacy tour”! They are actually speaking sense or are comprehensible, which they didn’t/weren’t previously! Dr Tharoor is speaking in American English rather than British English, which even the British need the Oxford Dictionary to understand. What have you done to Asaduddin Owaisi, Mr Modi? Where is that person who spoke about various subjects and against the “Hindutva” regime? He now speaks like he’s a part of your political party!! In fact, so does Dr Tharoor!

Modiji, all in all, this was not what was expected (by Pakistanis and INK). It’s one thing to make sure the country is aware of what is happening! But to take the most significant people from the opposition and make them a part of the “Diplomacy Tour” is rightfully wrong! Did I contradict myself? Oh, what the hell, I live in the US of A, where we make such statements and people actually understand!!
