Modi govt authorizes military action; Pakistan cornered after Kashmir attack

In a significant development, the Prime Minister has authorized the military to take necessary actions following a recent meeting with armed forces chiefs. Reports indicate that the Prime Minister extended the nation’s full support and approval to the military leadership during the discussions. This move is being interpreted as a de facto declaration of war, signaling India’s intent to launch an offensive against Pakistan—a scenario Pakistan likely never anticipated. The recent massacre in Pahalgam, orchestrated by Pakistan, has backfired spectacularly. Pakistan aimed to disrupt the peaceful environment in Kashmir, where locals had increasingly embraced tourism, earning a steady income and turning away from militancy.

Unable to tolerate this shift, Pakistan sought to destabilize the region and draw more individuals into terrorism. The attack was meticulously planned by Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI, in collaboration with terrorist groups. They devised two plans—Plan A and Plan B. When Plan A failed, they executed Plan B, leveraging extensive planning and local support. At the time of the attack in Baisaran Valley, around 500 tourists were present. However, the terrorists selectively targeted a small group, killing based on religious identity to achieve specific objectives:

  1. Isolate Kashmir from India by crippling Tourism: While this goal was temporarily achieved, India is poised for ultimate victory, as will be explained later.
  2. Provoke communal violence across India: Pakistan hoped the religiously motivated killings would incite attacks on Muslims in other parts of India, leading to widespread communal riots on the scale of the Gujarat model, ultimately aiming to destabilize the Modi government. This plan failed as the nation stood united. Even in the Kashmir Valley, locals took to the streets to protest against the terrorists and Pakistan.
  3. Trigger divisive rhetoric from the BJP and RSS: Pakistan expected the ruling BJP and RSS to respond with inflammatory communal remarks, further polarizing society. However, this did not materialize. The Prime Minister was the only leader to speak, doing so with measured and firm language. Other leaders remained silent, and even the RSS condemned the killings of tourists, not the community. This mature response ensured national unity while signaling a strong retaliation against Pakistan. The opposition also supported the government’s stance. Opposition MP Shashi Tharoor and leader Rahul Gandhi publicly expressed solidarity, reinforcing the message of a united India.
  4. Limit the scale of the attack to provoke a mild response: In Pahalgam, the terrorists could have killed hundreds, including women and children, to further alienate Kashmir from India and recruit more locals into terrorism. Instead, they selectively killed a few to provoke a muted Indian response, expecting at most a surgical strike. However, India’s reaction has far exceeded their expectations.

The RSS, known for its strategic foresight, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a leader shaped by the same organization, has outmaneuvered Pakistan. India’s sudden cancellation of the Indus Water Treaty, a decades-old agreement, dealt a severe blow to Pakistan, one from which it may never recover. Since 2014, India has been building dams and canals in Ladakh, the origin of these rivers, anticipating the need to rectify past oversights.

Pakistan is now gripped by fear, realizing it faces a direct military confrontation with no allies to support it in this crisis. Reports suggest the military chief responsible for this escalation has fled, while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who was vociferously anti-India until recently, is now hospitalized with chest pain and a hemorrhoid, as reports say. Meanwhile, Pakistan is desperately seeking international intervention to dissuade India from war, but with no clear direction, its leaders are focused on securing their own families and wealth.

The fear of an imminent strike is more paralyzing than the strike itself, and Pakistan is already reeling. There is a growing realization that the country may cease to exist as a single entity. India is set to achieve ultimate victory after 78 years of enduring this conflict, marked by three wars, countless terrorist attacks, and the loss of lakhs of lives across generations.

The sentiment among Indians and those who carry India in their hearts is clear: Enough is enough. The nation, backed by its proud military, is ready to end this menace. If war breaks out, Pakistan may not recover. It could be divided into four regions: India may reclaim Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Afghanistan may claim parts near Gilgit-Baltistan and adjacent areas, and Balochistan could become independent. Already, Naseem Baloch, the Chairman of Baloch National Movement, has declared war against Pakistan’s oppression against Baloch and Sindh, which was announced on Wednesday at the Geneva club in Switzerland. Soon, New Delhi might even host a Balochistan embassy.
